In 2009, Janelle Browne found herself often being consulted by friends and associates in the entertainment industry for creative content. It was during this time, Janelle discovered her passion for creative expression. This led to her dream of bringing her imagination to the screen.
Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Janelle was always fascinated with the behind the scenes aspect of production. In writing several scripts, Janelle recognized the importance of creative control and established 824 Films to fulfill her vision. With Janelle’s background in business operations, she was able to leverage her experience into creating the organization and structure needed to produce quality entertainment.
Janelle is known for go-getter New York attitude and drive, and will without a doubt launch 824 Films to great heights. Her goal is to bring her vision of feel good entertainment to all forms of multimedia: television, film, visual art, and internet.
Storyteller
Rachel Lee joined 824 Films in 2019. Known for her freelance background in providing exceptional content for professional enterprises in health care, law, events & hospitality; Rachel’s breadth of work in combination with her ability to bring ideas to life were the qualities the company had envisioned for its Storytellers. As a self-described English nerd, Rachel’s love of reading has made her a skilled writer and stickler for composition.
June Browne
Not only serves as the “mom” to the Storytellers but she is also the mother of the Founder & CEO, creating a true family atmosphere. June reviews, and sometimes mediates, the work produced in storytelling sessions and looks for ways to infuse compassion and truth into each project.
